Wake up EVERYONE so are you a leader or just one of the flock?

I have noticed quite a bit lately in our media and with many clients.  As a consumer I think we get lead around by the nose WAY to much either by the media or by the marketing that we are subjected to day in and day out.  How many times do you find you clients asking you for ideas, advice, or plain and simply what would you do?  Of course it would be easy to simply steer them in the direction I want them to go in.

So do your clients trust you totally?

I mean look at all those buyers and sellers that unfortunately for our field get hooked up with the big bad wolf and get fleeced.   You know the agents they churn and burn, just looking for the next deal and not worrying or caring about the scorched earth they leave behind.

Frankly I put in so much time going above and beyond just to get my clients to trust and believe me.  I recently was speaking to a loan officer at a closing and he was amazed at how much I did go above and beyond for my clients.  He asked for a stack of my business cards so that he could refer me to buyers.

I believe in the fact that work you do today is an investment in your future or to put it more simply;

YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW!

Who or what rules you? What is your level of customer service?

I recently have noticed that my clients all think that they are the only one.  I have been trying to break them of that habit slowly but, surely.  It has taken about a month but, I think I have gotten most of my buyers to realize they must plan ahead and not think that as soon as they see a home they want to view that I cannot always run right out and show it to them.  I know they use to be of the opinion that they can not plan and I would drop everything to show them a home.

Pleasant surprise today I had my youngest son with me and we went to the waterpark this afternoon.  I left my phone in the car.  When I came out I expected to see anywhere from 5 to 10 messages after not being available for to answer the phone.  You know not one message.  I was relieved.  Now I just need to not stress over it and be glad.  I am still in touch with all my clients and work everyday practically on every file but, when I carve out family time that is my time with them.

So how about you?
