Yes in High Point, NC we are moving homes here in the Triad. This wonderful home just went under contract in less then two weeks with multiple offers. Oh and to make it even better this was NOT a foreclosure, a short sale, or any other type of distressed situation. The owners are actually building their new home and going to have to rent a home for awhile since it is not finished. Talk about blowing some expectations out of the water.

So we are moving forward to close for some very excited buyers and sellers. There were lower priced homes in the neighborhood and they chose us. While Meadow Creek is a wonderful neighborhood and High Point, NC is a great area to live this one went faster then even I thought.

So it is possible to sell quickly in these times, have your home "show ready" at all times, make it easy for a buyer to see your home online, or in person. You can accomplish that by having lots of good pictures and descriptions. Then do not place a long time period for showing appointments, in other words do not say that you need 24 hours notice to show your home. It is best to be 1 to 2 hours. The more accessible your home is the more it will be shown. After all you just need that one person to buy it.

High Point, North Carolina offering Down Payment Assistance for first time buyers.

Actual down payment assistance being funded by local municipalities! One for example is in High Point, NC where the city is offering down payment and closing costs assistance for eligible low and moderate income first time homebuyers. Now of course the property must be within the city limits of High Point, NC.

Their purpose is to help the hardworking citizens with good credit in the low to moderate income levels to buy their own home by the giving of a deferred low interest loan in able to reduce their out-of-pocket expenses for buying a home.

Yes it is a loan but the interest is deferred for 3 years at 5% and the maximum amount is $5,000. Now the buyer must put at least $500 of their own money in to the process. So if you have a buyer that is pre-qualified is biting at the bit to buy but, just does not have enough saved up you might just have your answer right here.
