Could It Be Short Sale Accountability From THE BANK??
Those of us that are in that niche market of Short Sales understand all the issues with these transactions. They are many times twice the work of a normal real estate transaction. Short Sales are time consuming and many times we are waiting, waiting, and waiting for the banks and in some cases their asset management companies to communicate with us. Many times we follow that old military adage of rushing around to do nothing but “Hurry Up and Wait”. So imagine my pleasant surprise to receive the following email:
Dear Homeowner and Agent,
My name is CJ Russell and I have recently taken over Executive Management at AMO formerly UTLS. I just wanted to personally let you know that your file is extremely important to me and I apologize for any delays you may have had in the past regarding your file. My new team and I will work diligently to streamline your process to approval. As part of our enhancements I have changed our phone systems and am including new contact information for your Specialists and Negotiators below. Under new policy it is my goal that all calls are responded to within 2 business days and sooner if time permits. If you are having any problems with your Specialists after reaching out to them with the new numbers please feel free to reach out me directly and I will see to it that your file gets the attention it deserves. Non-responsiveness will not be tolerated as each and every one of your files is equally important.
Look forward to working with you soon and again my apologies for any past issues you may have had. Let’s work together to wrap this process up. Have a great day and let’s APPROVE your short sale.
As those of us that know UTLS is an asset management company setup by Bank of America as a clearing house for their short sales. A few months back UTLS changed to AMO. It was a little frustrating for awhile trying to keep up with emails since the negotiators emails first came out with a Bank of America tag, then UTLS, and now AMO. But as you can see this gentleman is promising CHANGE! Now not to be cynical but especially in an election year this is not the first time we have been promised change. so while hopeful I remain skeptical. BUT HOPEFUL for sure!
